WHAT IS AN INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM?

A healing environment that balances time commitment and support.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are a structured treatment option for individuals who struggle with mental health issues. IOPs are designed to deliver thorough and frequent care with more flexibility than residential and/or PHP programs. Our IOP meets 3x/week for 12 weeks, providing lots of time in treatment to work on your well-being.

WHO IS IOP FOR?

Some people need more than just 1-2 therapy sessions a week.

Life has a lot of moving parts. For those who need to balance work, school, family, and mental health, an IOP can provide much-needed treatment while accommodating a busy schedule. Anyone experiencing things like grief, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or other severe mental health concerns is a candidate for IOP.

By considering the various aspects of an individual’s life – such as their relationships and other lifestyle factors – we discover what will work best improve their mental health. Each person’s mental health struggles are unique, so we try to understand where people are coming from. This, in turn, lays the groundwork for well-being.
Not all programs are built to explore individual’s unique needs and interests. While it’s certainly not the only way to do things, here at Harvest we believe self-awareness and understanding are vital to improving mental health.

Harvest accepts most RAEs of Medicaid. You might not have to pay anything for IOP.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN HARVEST’S IOP

A challenging and safe environment to continue your healing journey.

Our IOP meets three days per week, for three hours each time. All participants are required to stick to a code of conduct. There may be other requirements to continue with session, depending on how a provider wants to monitor an individuals’ progress. The program lasts 12 weeks, and there can be up to 12 people enrolled in each group. Sessions can be offered in person, virtually, or a combination of the two.
